Milla part 1... Jovovich-Hawk
Jovovich-Hawk.... I'm sure you've heard of the front runner Miss. Milla Jovovich. There is more to come on her, this is just the first segment. This is a new design team consisting of Milla (duh) and Carmen hawk. Quick bio, Started in L.A in 2003 which also happens to be the location for the Atelier which surprised the hell out of me, they seem more like N.Y chics but whatever, friends for 10 years, former models, (of course! Have you seen them?) currently on their 3rd season and they are sold exclusively at Fred Segal. But I am sure if you happen to be in L.A and have a boat load of dough to spend you can probably swing on over to the Atelier and pick yourself up something. I guess I wanted to write about these ladies, not just because I admire Milla to the highest extent, but because they are doing something really special. Not special in the way that no one else is doing it, but special in the way they pretty are making what they want to wear. You see Milla floating around in those granny gowns all over the damn place and guess what? She looks great in them. They think you will too. This is a prefect case of pretty, pretty, princess and if the right woman rocks it, bad ass bitch all mixed in one. If you know me at all you know I love a look that is a complete contradiction. so slip on that lacy little frock with all the buttons and expose your tramp stamp. It works.
